Lower Pencubitt is well placed for accessing the many tourist attractions in Cornwall including:
- The Eden Project - enjoy the biomes the Rainforest and the Mediterranean as well as the extensive grounds
- The Lost Gardens of Heligan - stroll around and learn the history of these fascinating gardens.
- Porfell Wildlife Park - a wildlife family attraction a few miles from Looe
- The Monkey Sanctuary - meet some of the monkeys at this sanctuary near Looe
- Carnglaze Caverns - three fantastic caverns to explore and an opportunity to learn about the history of slate mining
- Newquay Zoo - slightly further afield, many rare and exciting creatures ideal for young children with the added attraction of the large sandy beaches at Newquay
- North Coast surfing beaches - including Fistral Beach, Perranporth and Polzeath
- Padstow and Rock - two very different places Padstow has many individual shops to browse around with restaurants and pubs, Rock is quieter but has a beautiful beach and sand dunes. There is a passenger ferry that links the two so you can enjoy the best of both worlds
- Cawsands and Kingsands - two small fishing villages interlinked with a small beach and individual shops, restaurants and pubs
